Every end of the monthly, MARI staff joined together and have tea together, the main purpose of this, is to inform staff what is going on at Mikocheni Agricultural Research Institute, the gathering this time was opened by acting Officer in charge Mrs. Betty Chalamila who welcomed the staff,researcher and Lab technicians who come for the training at MARI, the training was on molecular detection of plant viruses, the trainees were coming from Rwanda, Kenya, Zambia,Burundi,Malawi and Tanzania.

TRAINING ON MOLECULAR DETECTION OF PLANT VIRUSES HELD ON 23rd SEPTEMBER TO 6TH OCTOBER AT MIKOCHENI AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE DAR ES SALAAM - TANZANIA.

Molecular detections of Plant viruses training held from september 23rd - 06th October, 2013 at Mikocheni agricultural research institute, the aim of this training was to train Lab Technicians on the latest techniques for tracking different viruses in Plant tissues as the infections unfolds. The trainees were coming from different countries (Zambia,Malawi,Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania as a host.
